BEIJING 2017

In order to explain Demoiselle concept (elegant sofa available in armchair version as well) we needed to think about a special place including deep tradition and elegance at the same time, with settings that reveal dynamic push towards the modernity. Beijing has experienced profound changes to its layout over the last 60 years. The most modern and futuristic buildings live alongside the ancient Imperial Forbidden City. On a stroll through the city it is still possible to admire the Hutong and the impeccably uniformed guards of Tiananmen square: symbols of historic periods which have left their mark on China’s unconscious and culture.

BEIJING: THE APPEAL OF INVISIBLE DESIGN

The most modern and futuristic buildings live alongside the ancient Imperial Forbidden City. On a stroll through the city it is still possible to admire the Hutong and the impeccably uniformed guards of Tiananmen square: symbols of historic periods which have left their mark on China’s unconscious and culture.

SITTING ON DEMOISELLE

This suggestive mix between past and present ages perfectly reflects the soft balance of fabrics and colours of Demoiselle, with its ton sur ton colour matching. Just like Beijing, hospitable and essential, comfortable and moderate.
