Young talents: wanted! What we require: a lot of creativity and something special, the “green factor”. Infiniti Design has always been interested in young professionals’ innovative concepts. That’s why the brand has launched a new edition of the “Green Factor Design Contest” for all under 35 designers and architects who believe in respecting the environment. They will be given the opportunity to face a new challenge, with the support of a brand that consider sustainability a central value of its work.
The real protagonist will be the “green” material par excellence: wood. The candidates will be asked to make a couple of eco-friendly and recyclable products – chair and stool, or chair and table – made entirely of wood, possibly limiting or avoiding the use of other materials, and thus reducing waste.
The projects can be submitted by 31 July 2017. The best one will be announced in September and chosen by an exceptional jury, chaired by the internationally renowned architect Stefano Boeri and co-chaired by Interni magazine editor-in-chief Gilda Bojardi, together with Timothy O’Connell, head of H-Farm projects, and Marco Ceccato, sales and marketing director of OMP Group. “Through a highly qualified jury, Infiniti Design is looking for an eco-friendly project to raise the level of the products presented in past editions”, Dr. Ceccato said. “Thanks to the Contest, we discovered young talents and very interesting projects. We strongly believe in this activity, as always bears fruits in terms of product development and vision. ”
For the winner, there will be a € 5,000.00 award and the opportunity to industrialize both the products with the help of Infiniti Design.
